Time is money, and as a designer, speed matters. I took on a challenge—designing and developing a fully functional CMS blog in just 2 hours using Figma and Framer. Here’s how I did it!
Step 1: Wireframing the Blog Layout
Every great design starts with a plan. I quickly sketched out the blog list page and the blog detail page, ensuring a smooth structure for content presentation.

Step 2: Finding Design Inspiration
Before jumping into UI design, I browsed different blog designs for inspiration—checking typography, spacing, and layouts to ensure a visually appealing and functional interface.
Step 3: Designing the Blog UI
Once inspired, I started designing:
Blog List Page – A clean and structured layout for easy browsing
Blog Detail Page – Optimized for readability with perfect typography and spacing

Step 4: Developing in Framer
With the design ready, it was time to bring it to life in Framer. Here’s how I tackled it:
Built the Blog List Page
Developed a structured layout
Made it fully responsive across all screen sizes
Built the Blog Detail Page
Ensured smooth navigation and readability

Step 5: Creating a CMS in Framer
To make the blog dynamic and scalable, I set up a CMS for blogs, categories, and writers. This allows easy content management and updates without touching the design.

Step 6: Implementing Search Functionality
A blog isn’t complete without an efficient search feature! I integrated a search function in Framer CMS, allowing users to find blogs instantly based on keywords.

Final Thoughts
From wireframing to a fully functional CMS-powered blog with search functionality—all within 2 hours! This challenge proved that with the right tools, design-to-development can be lightning-fast. 🚀
